here's what you can expect each step of the way
The Experience
From the moment you inquire to the day your final gallery is delivered, every step of the experience is thoughtfully designed to be simple, personalized, and stress-free. My goal is to create beautiful, timeless photographs while making the entire process enjoyable for your family.
01. Book Your Session
Once you've chosen the photography experience that's right for your family, simply fill out my contact form. I'll be in touch via email with more information, answer any initial questions, and send over your booking proposal.
A signed client agreement and retainer are required to officially reserve your session date. Once those are complete, you're officially on my calendar!
Over the weeks leading up to your session, I'll check in with you and provide everything you need to feel prepared, including a detailed questionnaire and session guide that walks you through the entire experience.
02. Get Prepared
Every session is thoughtfully planned with your family in mind. If you've booked a maternity session, we'll schedule an in-person consultation at the studio where you can explore my client closet, try on gowns, and plan the look and feel of your session together. This is also the perfect time to answer any questions and ensure every detail reflects your vision.
For all sessions, you'll receive a detailed questionnaire and prep guide so you know exactly what to expect. Using your responses, I'll personalize your session so everything is ready before you arrive.
03. Session Day
It's finally here! Simply arrive and enjoy the experience. Your sets, colors, wraps, outfits, and styling will already be prepared based on your preferences.
Newborn sessions are relaxed and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddles, and breaks whenever needed. There's never any pressure or rush, just a calm environment where beautiful memories naturally unfold.
04. Choose Your Favorites
About one week after your session, you'll receive a private online proofing gallery with watermarked images from our time together. From there, simply choose your favorite images for professional retouching. Each selected portrait is carefully hand-edited with my signature style before your final gallery is delivered for download. If you'd love to display your photographs beyond the screen, heirloom-quality prints, albums, and artwork are also available.
When Should You Book?
To ensure availability, I recommend booking your maternity, newborn, and family sessions 3–4 months in advance.
For newborn sessions, don't worry if your baby hasn't arrived yet. We'll reserve your due date on my calendar and schedule the exact session date once your little one is here.
Tiny fingers, delicate wrinkles, and all the little details that change so quickly. These macro images may be small, but they often become some of the most treasured photographs from a newborn session.

You never know what’s going to happen at a cake smash session… Some babies dive right in, some cautiously poke the frosting, and some act completely offended that we expect them to touch the cake.
Watching their little personalities come out is half the fun, and I laugh through every single session. These messy, unpredictable moments always end up being some of the sweetest memories.
Sometimes the magic happens when they’re wide awake, taking in the world around them. Those tiny expressions, curious eyes, little stretches, and the first glimpses of their personality are moments you’ll want to remember forever.
Because before you know it, that tiny baby will be looking back at you with a whole new personality.
