I took this picture of my grandma a few years ago, and as I stare at it, I realize that my love of tangible prints started with her. My grandma was a collector of memories through photographs and a woman who lived with strong faith. Sitting in her home, surrounded by pictures, you could feel the presence of a lifetime of memories all around her. The images reflected love, connection, and the moments that mattered most, creating a space filled with warmth and meaning.
It has been amazing to look through all her old photos, some dating back to the 40s, each one holding a piece of the past. Now, these photos have become family heirlooms, treasured reminders of a life so beautifully lived.
This is me, and this is my work.
Capturing the moments you never want to forget.

Being an artist, I’m always drawn to the simplicity of black & white. There’s something about stripping away the distractions and letting the emotion be the focus.
This image feels so classic and timeless, but what really caught my eye was this in-between moment, the genuine smile that appeared for just a second. Sometimes those unplanned moments end up being the most beautiful ones to capture.

Think frosting-covered fingers, big smiles, and lots of giggles. It’s messy, it’s funny, and honestly… so fun to witness. The best part? Capturing those real reactions and sweet moments. And you get the cutest photos to remember it forever.
Senior year goes by fast, but these photos will always take you back.
