The first few weeks with your baby pass in the blink of an eye. Tiny fingers begin to uncurl, sleepy stretches become more frequent, and each day brings subtle changes you'll wish you could hold onto forever. My goal is to preserve these fleeting moments with timeless, heartfelt portraits that become more meaningful with every passing year. Every time you look through your gallery, I want you to be transported back to those magical early days, to remember how impossibly small they were, the way they fit perfectly in your arms, and the overwhelming love that filled your home.
All newborn sessions are done in the cozy comfort of Vanessa Koza Photography’s private studio in Green Valley, Arizona. Newborn sessions are best done when baby is 1-3 weeks of age. Newborn safety is my number one priority. I’ve trained with some of the best photographers in the industry and have completed numerous workshops on safety and posing. Your baby will never be placed in an unsafe pose. These sessions aren't meant to be stressful so please come Sit, Relax, and Enjoy while I work with your newborn - they are in safe hands! Your session will be designed for you specifically with all the details taken care of by us to ensure beautiful newborn portraits. I provide the highest quality of luxurious accessories and props so you won’t have to worry about bringing anything with you but your family.

PETITE NEWBORN
I know that welcoming a new baby comes with new expenses, which is why I created my Studio Petite Collection. A simple, beautiful way to preserve these fleeting first days. Designed exclusively for your newborn, these sessions focus solely on your baby without family portraits or prop setups. During your 45-minute session, we'll create timeless images that celebrate every tiny detail. Whether your little one is peacefully asleep for those classic curled-up poses or wide awake, showing off their curious expressions.

If you want to capture every part of this fleeting time, the Timeless Newborn Collection is the perfect choice. This full studio experience includes beautifully styled newborn portraits, heartfelt family images, timeless parent and sibling portraits, as well as a variety of wraps, outfits, and carefully selected props. From those perfectly posed, squishy newborn portraits to natural family connections, every detail is thoughtfully documented. These relaxed, baby-led sessions last up to three hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles, so you'll never feel rushed.

The Studio Lifestyle Session is soft, relaxed, and centered around your family as you are right now. In these sessions, your baby is held close the entire time, snuggled in your arms, loved on, and naturally comforted. The focus shifts from perfectly posed images to something deeper and more meaningful connection, warmth, and all the in-between moments that are perfectly felt.
Deluxe Newborn
Designed for families who don't want to choose, the Deluxe Session is design to have it all. This collection includes your entire gallery of professionally retouched high-resolution images, along with a custom 6×6 Fine Art Heirloom Album. Creating a lasting keepsake that allows you to relive these precious first days for years to come.
THE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION PROCESS
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT EACH STEP OF THE WAY
01. BOOK YOUR SESSION
Once you select the custom luxury photography experience that's right for you and reach out via the contact form . I will contact you via email with more information and an invoice to secure your date on my calendar. A retainer is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment.
Once the retainer is paid and my client agreement is signed, your session is confirmed and we are officially booked! I will be in touch multiple times to check in and to send my client questionnaire and prep guide. This guide will discuss all the details of a newborn session, the experience, and what is all included. I will style the session based on your answers from the questionnaire. I provide the highest quality of luxurious accessories and props so you won’t have to worry about bringing anything with you but your family.
Newborn sessions are ONLY done on weekday mornings.
02. GET PREPPED
We can schedule a phone consultation so that I can answer any questions you may have.
03. IT'S GO TIME
Your session is here! I will have all of the newborn set ups ready to go. Everything was pre-selected based upon your color preferences, which means that all you need to bring is yourselves and your baby. Neutrals are always included as they are very timeless. All of our parents take this time to sit back, relax and enjoy having someone else hold the baby for a few hours. As you sit and relax, take a look at all the products we offer. There is nothing more amazing then having tangible items that can be showcased in your home for years to come or that can is an heirloom product that can be passed down generations.
04. OOH AND AAH OVER YOUR IMAGES
About a week after your session you will be emailed a link to view all the images (watermarked) we took during our time together. Simply choose your favorites to get fully retouched. Once you're done selecting your favorites, your images will be given a high-end polish and the edited images will be available to download online. If you want the products you saw doing your session, we can do that too!
You don’t need an elaborate gown to create stunning maternity portraits. Sometimes all it takes is your favorite casual outfit, a little movement, hands through your hair, and your partner by your side. The simplest moments often become the most timeless pregnancy photos.
