A modern maternity studio session with an editorial approach. Where motherhood is styled with intention and simplicity.
Plot twist: they’re in charge! Here’s the thing, if a baby isn’t ready to sleep, we don’t force it. I let them chill, wiggle, and self-soothe (especially when they’re calm and just observing the world). Eventually, I bring out the swaddle... and usually that’s game over.
And if it’s still a no? We pivot, we adapt, and we photograph the boss exactly as they are, because on session day, the baby makes the rules.
These tiny little 4-pounders were in the studio shortly before Christmas. Mom and dad asked for a holiday touch, so I added cozy hats and a special surprise of a digital holiday composite gift just for them.
